Au plus près de nous, de notre corps, il reste comme témoin lorsque nous ne sommes plus. Il est mémoire, trace d’une vie que le tissu conserve.

De la naissance à la mort, il nous acompagne nuit et jour, adapté au temps, aux moeurs, aux humeurs, aux fonctions...

Il est une présence. Il habite et est habité. C’est donc dans un jeu de transparences, à la recherche de “l’entre-deux” que mon travail se réalise.”

Symbol of our relationship with the outside world, the clothes weave a link between ourselves and the others. According to their shape, they can transform us just like a second skin which would supersede the initial one.

Very close to us, to our body, they remain as an evidence when we die. They represent the memory, the trace of a life which is kept by the fabric.

They accompanish us from birth to death, night and day and adapt to the weather, customs, moods, functions…

They represent a presence. They inhabit and are inhabited. I therefore accomplish my work in a play of transparencies, searching for the intervening part.
